INFORMATIONS FOR DELEGATES

   

 

Keynote - A keynote is a lecture where the speakers will focus on either an overview of their area of expertise or latest developments in their field. All keynotes will have a chair to introduce the speaker and moderate a short discussion or select questions from the audience.

 

Invited Symposia - Colleagues who have been invited to chair a symposium were asked to gather a group of speakers and discussants for a lively exchange on the state of research and future challenges in a specific field. An Invited Symposium lasts 90 minutes, containing three presentations and discussion.


Symposia - Submitted symposia have a minimum of three participants and were submitted by the respective chair. A symposium will lasts for 90 minutes, including presentations and discussions. Participants are advised to follow the instructions for presenters published in the webpage of the Congress.


Oral Presentations- The submitted abstracts for oral presentations were reviewed by the Scientific Committee and than grouped into free communications sessions. An invited person chairs these sessions. Normally, each session is composed of five individual oral contributions. Each presenter has 12+3 minutes for his/her presentation (including time for questions). A symposium will lasts for 90 minutes, including presentations and discussions. Participants are advised to follow the instructions for presenters published in the webpage of the Congress.

 

 

Poster presentations - There will be two poster sessions during the congress. All posters will be exhibited in the hall of the congress floor at Hotel Tivoli Madeira. Participants are advised to follow the suggestions for poster presentations published in the webpage of the Congress.


Pre-Congress Workshop - On Monday, 3 November, 9.00 – 17.30 h, and Tuesday, 4 November, 9.00 -17.30 h, the pre-congress workshops will be held at the congress venue. This workshop is a tutorial about complex systems in sport, and simultaneously a link with ecological psychology. It will be leaded by Michael Turvey and Claudia Carello. The pre-congress workshop is not included in the registration fee. A separate registration is necessary. Registrations for the pre-congress workshop will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. The maximum number of participants for the pre-congress workshop is limited. Please check at the congress counter for further information.


Registration Desk / Congress Secretariat – The congress secretariat will be located in the Hotel Tivoli Madeira, at the hall of the 3rd floor
where the congress will take place.
