Yeou-Teh Liu (National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan) “Bifurcation and Self-Organized Criticality in Motor Learning” Born and raised in Taipei, Yeou-Teh Liu received her BEd in Physical Education from National Taiwan Normal University and became a high school PE teacher. Later she went on to work for the Ministry of Education as the coordinator of international sports affairs in the department of Physical Education. After working for the government for 3 years, she left for the United States to pursue the higher education and received the MS and PhD degrees in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under the supervision of Dr. Les Carlton. She spent the next two years working with Prof. Karl M. Newell at the Pennsylvania State University before coming back to Taiwan to assume the Assistant Professor position in Taipei Physical Education College. She is currently a professor in the Graduate Institute of Exercise and Sport Science at the National Taiwan Normal University. She has published many scholarly papers in academic Journals such as Journal of Motor Behavior, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance. |
